The
mission of Bocas Educational Service Organization is to provide
educational grants and services to the youth of
Bocas del Toro.
The
Organization will achieve
this Mission by:
- Granting scholarships and
financial aid for further education
- Ensuring a safe and healthy
school environment for all students
- Encouraging volunteer programs
and assistance
- Providing equal educational
opportunities throughout the province
Since
2001, Bocas Educational Service Organization has:
- Granted High School and
University Scholarships
- Funded construction of
classrooms, kitchen/dining facilities and ancillary structures
- Facilitated construction of
water collection systems
- Provided desks, blackboards,
books, teaching aids, medical kits and other school supplies
- Supported continuation of
internet service and computer maintenance for the provincial High
School
- Assisted in transportation to
intramural academic events
- Supplied school uniforms when
needed
- Promoted music and athletic
programs in the primary schools
Bocas
Educational Service Organization encourages individuals and businesses
to donate time, money and materials for the continued achievement of
